I am a California-based landscape designer creating outdoor spaces that evoke a calming sense of peace and satisfaction. My primary design influences are Frank Lloyd Wright, Maya ruins, and palms.

Prior to landscape architecture, my career included political consulting, work as a journalist & published author, and service in the U.S. Peace Corps in the Amazon rainforest. When I'm not designing groovy landscapes, I enjoy traveling, practicing guitar, bodysurfing, and looking after my pet dog, Elvis.
